I first came across your 'EXHIBBIT" site from reading a press release online. As soon as I landed on your site I was truly 'Blown Away' with the brilliant concept you had developed. It is THE IDEAL SPACE to showcase our individual works to a global audience. I couldn't stop talking about it to friends and a few other artists I know. I have been very impressed with the offers of support to get my first exhibition underway, and would not hesitate to recommend the team at "Exhibbit.com" to anyone. It is pretty well accepted that, in the main, most artists are absolutely hopeless at marketing and promoting themselves effectively. With your concept this has clearly given the artist the opportunity to show their work as it should be seen... in THE PERFECT GALLERY setting. The other great plus is that you have given flexibility and immediate opportunity to display our works,.... instead of having to often wait one to two years to book an exhibit in a reputable gallery.

I know that I will continue toembrace this new found treasure. There is a touch of genius and brilliance at work here!! WELL DONE!!

Your ‘exhibbit’ idea is quite ingenious and innovative. Just like being in a real gallery without having the physical presence. I suggest everyone go to the website and experience the difference from a portfolio site, website, and a regular gallery. It's quite entertaining to say the least.

KUDOS ALL AROUND!!!

I have spent this evening having a load of fun over at exhibbit, an innovative new site that can best be described as leading edge participation in the Art of techno 3D exhibiting. This is New Zealand at its best, feeling the forefront and going for it. My 'potentiality buttons' were being pinged all over the place as its seriously engaging and blows open many options for anybody to get their work exhibited. It is also sophisticated and very easy to use.

First up I checked out most of the current works to get a feel for the spaces and how they work. I have to say I feel like I have been to a cool art opening, having conversed with all the ins and outs and even had the chance to hang works which I did with raw abandon!

I am going to be talking more about ‘exhibbit’. I will be making use of their service very soon as our local Golden Bay Art Exhibition gets underway and this Gallery can take that Gallery to the world.

As an artist I have been displaying my work online for many years. Exhibbit offers a truly unique solution. My online gallery now sets me apart from the crowd, projects an image of professionalism and of innovation.

I am glad to be one of the pioneers taking advantage of this truly unique technology. My Exhibbit exhibition has quickly become the most visited page on my site. This technology will no doubt become the standard for viewing and purchasing art online.

Creating a 3D gallery is quick and simple, integrating it into my site was awfully easy and the resulting window into my art is simply stunning. Take a peek on www.bodyscape.net.nz/portraits.htm

Peter, this is one of the best ideas I have seen for art online. Great job. This is really the next true step for virtual art buying. Since the web has the ability to be visual to the extreme, this 3d environment step is a great idea as well as your embedded YouTube video. GOOD LUCK!!

What a blast! First, I walked through the exhibit as is. Then, I had such a good time changing the wallpaper, seeing how the addition or deletion of a color actually changes on the wall. Perhaps this wasn’t the intent, but it made me see something new in art, which is always a good thing.

So then I changed the wallpaper to a color I’d like to tone down our living room to (and once again, playing with colors helped to see what I need), and I was caught off-guard at how some of the pieces that I saw at the actual exhibit, and saw again on the first tour, actually matched our walls and which ones didn’t – and was completely shocked at ones I hadn’t really pondered over before, but seeing them on the color wall I have (well, wish I had) was remarkable!

Let me just say, I know you and Nancy are going to get into a home art consultation business, I think this will help tremendously. I’m the kind of person who needs to actually see things – size, shape, color – and can’t visualize as well. Bob usually paints a few different boards for me, and then I take forever to decide. This is a wonderful tool. Just seeing the pieces in variation to each other size wise was a big help, but the color of the wall is key. When you get into that business, you may want to find a site that allows you to change the matte color too. Just a thought. I don’t know if such a site exists, but for people like me, we know we like something but may not know why. Then we bring it home, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, and maybe a simple matte change or change of room color makes us love the piece even more. I’m the kind of person that when I fall in love with a painting or picture, I love it for life. I’m not the kind who changes furniture and room décor every 5 years. Not that that’s bad (sometimes I should!), but I get comfortable with a piece, and looking at it every day is like settling in for a visit with an old friend.

Selwyn College

The Selwyn College Artx Group recently worked alongside Dr Victoria Edwards and Ina Johan as part of the Artists in Schools program.

‘exhibbit’ generously provided us with this fantastic virtual gallery as another vehicle for our school to display some of the amazing artworks that were created over that period. This has meant students who did not get to experience the show can now see it online.

The students feel really proud to have their work looking so professional! I can see many uses for exhibbit exhibitions for us here at Selwyn.

I personally used this software to create the exhibition and it was so easy. No technical knowledge needed, easy to follow instructions and incredibly helpful and supportive staff on hand to guide you through should you have any issues. Take the time to have a look at exhibbit - it may just be what you're looking for as an added way to showcase your exhibition.

Love the gallery!! What turned me onto your online gallery the most was how the viewer can see the work in perspective and the size it really is. I put some of my art on a website recently and I did not like that my small pieces were not shown to scale. Your website corrects this nicely, the viewer can walk up to the small piece and it gets bigger, just like in the real world.

My partner Max just did a show at a gallery here in San Francisco. It was pretty chaotic there and if my work was in that gallery I would not get a wink of sleep. This is the best alternative I have seen on the internet yet You have worked very hard and it shows you have a LOT of personal experience behind it. Great job you are doing...very refreshing!

Initial comments...loving this!

I would be happy to write you a review, when it's on twitter & my website. As an artist, the ability to see my work in this format is delightful. I often design with my own space vision in mind, especially as the grand museums of the world do not know me. Offering the artist the ability to own this for ever would be priceless.

I am completely impressed. Great idea and execution. I could immediately see why this is the next step for online gallery presentation. Do you know if you are the first out with something like this?

I created an experimental exhibition and it made my things look wonderful. I'll have to see if I can scrape up the $ to pay for one. ; )

P.S Your great site has caused me to stay up waaaaaay to late. It's 2:07 AM here.

I just noticed the new website, and it is excellent. Really shows all the effort and work you have put in. I wish you all the very best with what you do and I am so sure you are going to have PLENTY of artists and clients racing to you because you have a great service and great communication and delivery on point.

It's the best way to view a show!
