The family team
Exhibbit is a family collaboration based in New Zealand, with each of our team member’s having a rich background in the arts.
Since 2005
Exhibbit was born from a simple belief: an exhibition is more than a collection of artworks, it is an experience in its own right.
We wanted to preserve that experience online, maintaining the sense of discovery, context and spatial awareness that makes visiting a gallery so engaging.
Our virtual spaces are calm and considered, reproducing the gallery viewing experience. The intuitive navigation moves slowly, complimenting that of the intimate and introspective physical experience of a gallery as viewers move freely through the space.

Peter Worrall
Co-Founder and CEO
Peter Worrall’s career spans engineering, fine art, film, computer animation and software design. Beginning as an apprentice in his father’s model-making and experimental engineering company in the UK, he worked on projects ranging from museum models to components created for Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. Those early years established a lifelong fascination with the relationship between craftsmanship, technology and visual experience.
After emigrating to New Zealand, Peter pursued a career as a fine artist, exhibiting with the Barry Lett Gallery and at Auckland Art Gallery, before moving into film production as a conceptual designer, storyboard artist and special props maker. In 1986 he co-founded one of New Zealand’s pioneering 3D computer animation studios, combining technical innovation with visual storytelling.
As both an artist and designer, Peter has always been interested in how people experience art, not just how they view it. That philosophy led to the creation of Exhibbit, where he brings together decades of experience in engineering, spatial design and visual communication to create immersive digital exhibition environments that preserve the experience of visiting a gallery.

Amanda Lane
Co-Founder and CFO
Amanda Lane is a spatial experience designer whose career has spanned animation, theatre, film production, graphic design and software design.
As co-founder of Exhibbit, Amanda leads the design of the platform’s virtual gallery environments and visitor experience. Drawing on decades of experience in scenic art, set design and digital production, she focuses on creating exhibition spaces that are intuitive to explore and faithful to the way galleries present and visitors engage with exhibitions in the physical world.
Her work extends beyond interface design to the experience of the exhibition itself. From the way visitors are introduced to an exhibition, to the way they navigate through a gallery and engage with the artworks. This gallery-centred approach has become a defining characteristic of Exhibbit.
As a practising artist, Amanda who works primarily in oils and watercolour, is inspired by the landscapes, flora and fauna of Aotearoa New Zealand. Her ongoing practise of analog art making provides an enjoyable and useful contrast to the digital world.
